Craig, Debbie (WFC Your Corps President - 1974)

Debbie Craig, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Craig of rural Willard, was elected president of the Wisconsin Federation of Co-ops Youth Corps at the sixth annual meeting of the WFC at Madison, November 11 and 12.

Over 250 farm youths from Wisconsin attended the Youth Conference. Debbie presently is president of the Greenwood High School FFA as well as state secretary of the Wisconsin Junior Dairymen’s Association. She received the State FFA Farmer Degree this past summer and received over 50 percent of the votes in her election as president of the WFC Youth Corps.

In addition to sponsoring her trip to Madison, the Production Credit Association of Neillsville sponsored five other area FFA Youths to the conference. They were: Tom Marty, Neillsville; Daniel Sladek, Granton; Patrick Beyerl, Colby; Greg Palmer, Thorp; and Theron Ramsey, Melrose-Mindoro.

E. J. Steiger, general manager and secretary-treasurer of the PCA, and Ralph Woik, Owen, president of the PCA, accompanied the youths to the conference.
