Raymond G. Copeland, age 79, of Curtiss, died at his country home which he dearly loved on Monday, April 9, 2018.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018, at Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. Interment will follow at Colby Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome from 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.

Ray was born on June 30, 1938, in Dorchester. He served in the United States Air Force. Later he moved to Milwaukee and worked at American Motors Company. Ray married Karen Kademan on Feb. 23, 1963, and moved to Curtiss until his death.

Ray is survived by his wife of 55 years, Karen; his two sons, Curt of Curtiss and Scott (Michelle) of Yuma, Ariz.; and two grandsons, Levi and Austin of Yuma, Ariz. He is further survived by three siblings, Larry (Marge), William and Doris (Dave); brother-in-law, Wayne Kayhart; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 14 siblings.
