Rayhorn, Lana Jean (23 JUN 1973)

Lana Jean Rayhorn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rayhorn, and Steven Carl Kruger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Kruger, all of R. 2, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, 1973, at the United Methodist Church, Loyal. Rev. Gene Carlson performed the ceremony.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, chose an empire floor length gown of cotton lace with organza skirt, high neckline, lantern sleeves with matching cathedral length mantilla veil edged in lace. Her bouquet consisted of white and pink roses with baby's breath.

Mrs. Julie Loos, Loyal, as matron of honor, and Mrs. Vicki Weichelt, Marshfield, Mrs. Lorraine Rayhorn, Manitowoc, Mrs. Pat Rayhorn, Loyal, and Mrs. John Esgar, Minneapolis, as bridesmaids, wore floor length gowns in blue, yellow, orchid, and green voile, respectively, with sheath skirts, halter tops, with short bolero jackets trimmed with lace. Their flowers consisted of assorted colored mums, daisies, and carnations, with baby's breath and greens.

Mr. Scot Schober, Loyal, served as best man, with Mr. Jeff Lindekugel, Loyal, Mr. Jeff Rayhorn, Manitowoc, Mr. Bruce Rayhorn, Loyal, and Mr. John Esgar, Minneapolis, as groomsmen.

Monte Cox, Loyal, and Corron Baker, Nekoosa, performed the ushering duties.

Singing for the wedding were Miss Judy Zettler, Mrs. Diane Anderegg, and Mrs. Sharon Schoonover, with Miss Pam Wolfe and Miss Jodi Schoonover as organists.

A reception was held at the Amber Inn, Loyal, with a supper at the church, and a dance at the Silver Done, Neillsville.

The bride is a 1971 graduate of Loyal Hihg School and 1972 graduate of Mid-State Vocation & Technical Institute, Marshfield, and has been employed at the Marshfield Clinic.

Her husband is a 1972 graduate of Loyal High School and is engaged in farming.

After a wedding trip to Wisconsin Dells, the newly married couple will make their home at R. 2, Loyal.
