Schreffler, Robert A. (13 JAN 1967 - 23 APR 2018)

Robert A. Schreffler, 51 of Stanley, died Monday, April 23, 2018 at Our Lady of Victory Hospital of complications following heart valve surgery.

He was born on January 13, 1967 the son of William and Shirley (Hawks) Schreffler. Robert grew up south of Stanley and graduated from Stanley-Boyd High in 1985. He went on to receive his associate degree from Chippewa Valley Tech in auto mechanics. On June 1, 2001 he married Sarah Thomas in Medford.

Robert worked for Tombstone for 15 years and was a farmer, janitor and “Jack of all Trades.” He enjoyed outdoors, hunting, anything wood, spending time with his family and helping others.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah of Stanley, his children, Brianna Schreffler of Abbotsford and Zain and Abigail at home, his parents, William and Shirley Schreffler of Stanley, his brother William (Teresa) Schreffler of Greenwood and his sister, Brenda (John) Bollinger of Bremen, IN.

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Plombon Funeral Home-Stanley. Burial will follow at the First Apostolic Cemetery-Withee. Visitation will be from 10AM until time of service Friday. Also, there will be a meal served at the Evangelical Free Church in Abbotsford beginning at 2.
