Immaculate Conception Church at Algoma was the setting for the marriage of Patricia Ann Schmitt, Algoma, Wis., and Steven T. Becker, Whitewater, Wis.. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. John J. Schmitt and Mrs. Clarence J. Becker.

The August 11, 1973 2:00 p.m. ceremony was performed by Bishop Mark Schmitt, an uncle of the bride. Music was provided by St. Mary’s Youth Choir.

The bride was seen in a white sheer top with taffeta underlying (empire waist) gown, with rose lace neckline and rose ruffle on the bottom of the gown. Long puff sleeves with cuff 4 inch long of the same rose lace. She wore a long mantilla style veil with 3 inch bordered rose lace matching lace and dress. The bride carried yellow roses, daisies with baby’s breath, in a global shape.

Maid of honor for the occasion was Elizabeth Schmitt of Algoma, seen in a peach crepe empire waisted gown, with a braid of flowers around the bodice and collar. The gown featured long puff sleeves.

Bridesmaids for Miss Schmitt were were Mrs. Louis Feucht, Mayville; Miss Cindy Schmitt, Algoma; Miss Mary Empey, Algoma. Their gowns of yellow crepe featured long sheer sleeves with a braid around the bodice and collar.

Best man for Mr. Becker was Mr. James Klink of Rubicon. Groomsmen were Mr. Norbert Feucht, Mayville; Mr. Mark Schmitt, Minnesota; Mr. Paul Becker, Loyal.

A reception was held at the Coach Inn, at which dinner was served.

After a seven day wedding trip to Colorado, the new Mr. and Mrs. Becker will be at home to their friends at Whitewater, where Mr. Becker is a student of Business Administration, and the bride is employed at Ft. Atkinson Memorial Hospital as an R.N.
