Ertl, Donna M. (8 SEP 1973)

Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal was the site of a 2 p.m. wedding of Miss Donna M. Ertl and Ronald C. Heiting, Saturday, September 8, 1973.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond F. Ertle, Route 1, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Heiting, 710 S. Apple Ave., were pronounced husband and wife by the Rev. William Humlie. Mrs. Jean Voss served as organist, with Verlyn Randt, as soloist.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, selected an empire gown of rayon organza and Chantilly lace with Watteau train. Her bouffant veil fell from a Camelot headpiece and she carried a bouquet of yellow roses with orchid carnations.

The maid of honor, Miss Kathy Scheel, and the bridesmaid, Miss Shirley Heiting, are of Marshfield. The honor attendant wore a yellow empire dress of nylon organza and Venice lace, and the bridesmaid was dressed in orchid. Each had a matching floral spray headpiece and carried a bouquet of orchid and yellow carnations.

James Heiting, Marshfield, was best man, and Ronald Ertl, Loyal, was groomsman. Jerry Ertl and Charles Brinkman performed ushering duties.

A dinner at the Loyal Methodist Dining Hall followed the ceremony, with a reception and dance at Village Plaza, Spencer. A rehearsal dinner was held at the Amber Inn Supper Club of Loyal.

Mr. and Mrs. Heiting are both employees of the Marshfield News Herald . She is a graduate of Loyal High School and he, a graduate of Columbus High School.

After a honeymoon trip in northern Wisconsin, the couple will take up residence in the Adam Valley Apartments in Marshfield.
