Amy A. Morgal was born on March 5, 1917, near Tioga, rural Willard, to Frank Sr. and Margaret (nee Plutt) Morgal. She was raised on the family farm and received her education at Blackberry School. She would return to Willard in the spring to help her brother on the farm, and then return to Chicago in the winters to waitress. She resided there until entering Care & Rehab in July 2012. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, and loved to garden, make wine and bake potica.

Amy is survived by two nephews: Alvin “Hap” Ehlers of Neillsville and Bill (Linda) Ehlers of Greenwood; great-nieces and great-nephews; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters: Mary Ehlers, Emily Morgal and Margaret Morgal; one brother: Frank Morgal Jr.; and one niece: Amy (Stanley) Olson.
