Hecker, Jennifer Ellen (Carrell) (7 JUL 1971 - 31 MAY 2018)

Jennifer Ellen Hecker, 46 of Jump River, entered into heaven on Thursday, May 31st, 2018 at home with her family by her side. She was born on July 7, 1971 in Chippewa Falls to William and Ellen (Pahl) Carrell of Cornell.

Jennifer grew up on a farm near Cornell and graduated from Cornell High. She met her future husband at a softball game and later married Robert “Bobby” Hecker of Hawkins on July 7,
1990.

Jennifer was known for her love for the Lord and for her desire for others to have a personal relationship with Him. She loved her family and gave birth to twelve children-six boys and six girls. She helped teach them how to garden, farm, and take care of the home. Jennifer home-schooled each one as well. She loved her friends and church family and actively sought to encourage them to live for the Lord.

Jennifer also loved her community-from 4-H, home-school group, little league, basketball and any time she had the opportunity to be with others. Jennifer enjoyed crocheting, canning, decorating cakes and spending time with her husband and children.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Bob, her children, Daniel (Ginger) of Thorp, MaryEllen of Green River, WY, Ruth, David, Joseph, Hannah, Andrew, Peter, Esther, Abigail, Rebekah and Timothy of Jump River, 3 grandchildren, her parents, William “Bill” and Ellen Carrell of Cornell, and her siblings, Sheila (Jeremy) Shackleton and Barbara (Shane) Stumo both of Cornell and William “Billy” (Michelle) Carrell of Eleva.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her brother in law, John Hecker.

A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Northland Baptist Church in Hannibal with Rev. Dick Chromy and Rev. Greg Stine Co-officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Nebo Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 PM on Monday at Northland Baptist Church, W14530 County Road M, Hannibal and one hour prior to services Tuesday all at the Church.

Plombon Funeral Service-Gilman assisted the family.
