David Michael Kinsley, age 59, of Winter WI, died unexpectedly Thursday June 7th, 2018.

David Michael Kinsley was born December 22, 1958 in Ladysmith, WI the son of Elsie (Hewitt) and the late Floyd Kinsley. He lived and worked his entire life on the Kinsley Family Farm in Winter, WI. David and Karen were happily married on November 11, 1989. David was very well loved and respected both by his family and in the community where he was active for many years.

He served on the town board as a supervisor/chairman for almost 30 years, the school board for many years and a much loved school bus driver where he enjoyed seeing the kids and their progress. Family and friends of Dave know him as a very loyal father, friend, and neighbor, someone who was always there for us, someone we could count on. David had a very strong work ethic that he passed down to all his children. Some joke that he was a “work-aholic.” He was always very proud of his family, his children, grandchildren and the family farm. David enjoyed attending his children’s sporting events, especially basketball. David M. Kinsley was loved beyond measure. The loss we feel is a tribute to a great man.

David Michael Kinsley is survived by his wife, Karen; his children, Michael (Petra) Kinsley of Winter, WI, Sara (Jon) Klecan of Hayward, WI, Joe (Tina) Kinsley of Neenah, WI, Amber (Darren) Borchert of Kaukauna, WI, Bryan Kinsley of Winter, WI, and Trisha Kinsley of Hayward, WI; his grandchildren, Emma, Chris, Natalie, Avah, Bailey, Misty, Justin, Levi, Daisy, Aspen, Merrek, Harper, Aaron, Wyatt and Lili; his mother, Elsie; his brother, Ron (Cheryl) Kinsley of Radisson; and his sisters, Jeanne (Pete) Hanson of Radisson, WI and Elaine (Jim) Nyberg of Stone Lake, WI.

David is preceded in death by his father, Floyd Kinsley; and his sister, Janet LaCount.

A service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church in Winter, WI, where visitation will be held from 10:30 A.M. until the hour of the service. Pastor Beverly Thompson will officiate. Burial will be held privately at Winter Cemetery. A Luncheon will follow in the church basement.
