Escorted to the altar by her father, and wearing her mother's wedding gown of beautiful sheer lace over satin, with lace train and her mother's fingertip tulle veil, fashioned from a heart-shaped crown of orange blossoms, Miss Mary A. Munson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Munson of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Aaron Dean Thorne, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Thorne of Owen. The bride carried a colonial bouquet of white roses, stephanotis, and carnations.

The Nuptial High Mass took place at two o'clock Saturday afternoon, July 31, 1971 at the Holy Rosary Church at Owen.

Rev. George Becker officiated, and Mr. Roger Truckey of Thorp was organist and soloist.

Wearing identical gowns of white nylon organdy over taffeta, with blue and white calico print, bishop sleeves, and high necklines with Venice lace and royal blue pull through ribbon, and slightly raised waistlines accented with Venice lace and ribbon were attendants, Miss Helen Missling as maid of honor. She carried three white roses. Bridesmaids were Misses Sheila Stewart and Mona Milliren of Withee, and Gladys Burt of Wausau. They each carried a single white rose. They wore crowns of baby's breath.

Attending the groom were Rick Klay of Virginia Beach, Va., as best man, and Michael Nordlof, Allan Jensen and Jerrold Thorne of this area, as groomsmen. They wore long white jackets with black trouser, white shirts with ruffles, and black bow ties. Each wore a white rose.

James Utteck and Paul Rasmussen ushered the guests at the church.

The wedding cake was made by the groom's aunt, Mrs. Robert Baxter of Dorchester.

Cutting the cake for the guests was Miss Dorothy Twarowski.

In charge of the guest book was Miss Cindy Devine.

Classmates, neighbors, friends, and relatives of the couple were greeted at the reception at Quonset Hall at Thorp. Dinner was served there at five o'clock.

The newlyweds will make their home in Necedah, where the groom is employed by the Hard S. Construction Co. He designs and builds home.

He attended North Central Technical Institute at Wausau.

The bride attended WSU, Stevens Point, and was employed at Wausau Hospital North.

The couple are spending their honeymoon at a friend's cottage at Shell Lake.
