Wedding vows were repeated by Miss Donna Jean Karaba and David Stephan Larson at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen, on Saturday, August 19, 1972. The Rev. Roger Zauk officiated at the double ring 4:00 p.m. ceremony.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride was wearing a floor length A-line gown of rayon organza and Venice lace, with matching cathedral length mantilla. She carried a bouquet of orange shaded roses surround by baby's breath.

Maid of honor for her sister was Bonnie Karaba, and bridesmaids were Maria Williams and Mary Ann Milliren. They were attired in mint green empire style gowns of sheer organza over nylon. A clip of matching floweres were worn in their hair. They carried white baskets of harvest gold feathered chrysanthemums and baby's breath.

Jana Karaba was the little flower girl and she carried a white basket with orange shaded roses and baby's breath. The ring bearer was Opie Williams, dressed in green.

Attending the groom as best man was his brother, James Larson, with groomsmen Alan Lulloff and Rodney Karaba. The groom and his attendants were attired in tuxedos of smoking grey jackets, with pin striped trouser, and wore mint green ruffled shirts.

A 6:30 dinner was served to over 300 guests, followed by a dance for relatives and guests at the Quonset Hall, Thorp.

A honeymoon was taken in upper Michigan, after which the newlyweds make their home in Eau Claire.
