Base on outstanding qualities of leadership and good character, Doreen Osowski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Osowski, and Greg Sokolowski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Sokolowski, have been chosen as Thorp High School's Badger Girl and Badger Boy. Badger Girls State is sponsored by the Thorp unit of the American Legion Auxiliary, and sponsoring the Badger Boys State is the Thorp Post of the American Legion. These students were selected by the high school faculty on the basis of qualities required for the positions of Badger Girl and Badger Boy.
