Later he moved in with his sister, Margie Sova, until she passed away. Bennie has since been a resident of Colonial Center in Colby. Bennie worked in the woods, logging for many years. He also was a mechanic and hauled milk. He liked gardening and taking care of his horses.

Bennie is survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, Bennie was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Seaborn and Margie Sova; his brothers, Eldred, Louis, Douglas and Arden; brothers-in-law, Ray Seaborn and Arnold Sova; and sister-in-law, Edna Krueger.

The family would like to extend thanks to The Colonial Center in Colby for caring for Bennie the last four years and thanks to Hemer Funeral Home and Pastor Amy Heinz.
