Clark, Deborah (18 SEP 1971)

St. Hedwig Chapel, Thorp, was the setting of a 12:30 double ring ceremony on Saturday, September 18, 1971, where wedding vows were exchanged by Miss Deborah Clark and Frank P. Wargolet. Father Will Grelle officiated. The altars were decorated with white and yellow gladiolas, blue chrysanthemums, and pink pompoms.

Parents of the couple are: Mr. and Mrs. Mike Clark, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), route 1, and Mrs. Sally Wargolet, Thorp, route 2.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a taffeta floor length empire waist gown, featuring a nylon lace overlay down the ront and lace on the bottom, with a butterfly train and a standup collar. Her sleeves were of nylon lace. Her bouffant veil fell in two layers below her shoulders, and she carried a bouquet of pink tea roses and white mums.

Karen Clark, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Frank Wargolet of Milwaukee and Christine MaMackin of Marengo, Illinois. Karen Clark wore a blue full length gown with a blue blusher to match. She carried a bouquet of blue and white miniature mums. Fran Wargolet wore a yellow crepe V-shaped neckline dress with nylon puckered sleeves with sequins. She carried a bouquet of yellow and white mums with a yellow blusher to match her dress. Christine McMackin wore an identical dress in pink with a pink blusher to match her dress. She carried a bouquet of pink and white miniature mums.

Robert Wargolet of Milwaukee cousin of the groom, was best man. Alan Rymers of Cudahy, friend of the groom, was groomsman. Both wore tuxedoes with white carnations in the lapels.

The ushers were Dave Losiewicz and Roger Kodl, both of Cudahy, friends of both the bride and the groom.

Miss Kim Burnet, friend of the bride, took charge of the wedding book.

A reception was held at the St. Hedwig's Chapel basement with 200 guests attending.

A dance was held at Club 73 with music furnished by Emil Kodl and his orchestra. The grand march was at 10:30, and led by Joe Spaeth, friend of the Clark family.

Mrs. Clark was wearing a blue lace gown with satin underlay, with a corsage of white carnations. Mrs. Wargolet wore a silver dress with a satin underlay, with a white carnations corsage.

The happy couple will make their home on route 2, Thorp, where the groom is engaged in farming.

Guests attending were from Thorp, Stanley, Gilman, Withee, Ladysmith, Milwaukee, Cudahy, Cleveland, Ohio, Forest Lake, Minnesota, Welcome, Minnesota, and Marengo, Illinois.
