Gruba, Mrs. Anton (27 OCT 1927 – 03 DEC 1971)

Mrs. Anton Gruba, 44, Rt. 3, Stanley (Chippewa Co., Wis.), died Friday morning at her home. She was born in Delano, Minnesota October 27, 1927, and graduated from Delano High School. On June 18, 1949 she was married to Anton Gruba at Delano. After their marriage, they came to the Town of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.), where they operated a farm.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Michel and Robert, at home; one daughter, Mrs. James Winkler, Appleton; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Fautch, Delano, Minnesota; two brother, Clem, Delano, and Clarence, Buffalo, Minnesota; and one sister, Miss Rosie Fautch, Minneapolis.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Family South Catholic Church in Stanley, with Father Joseph Marx officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
