Zellner, Marlene Barbara (8 JAN 1972)

Following a Florida honeymoon, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Ray Thompson, who were married Saturday, January 8, 1972 by the Reverend Carl Wohlmuth in St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Rozellville, will live on route 3, Stanley.

The former Miss Marlene Barbara Zellner, 225 Chippewa Street, Eau Claire, daughter of Mr.a nd Mrs. Joseph L. Zellner, route 2, Stratford, was given in marriage by her father to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Thompson, route 3, Stanley (Chippewa Co., Wis.)., during the 1 p.m. rites, for which Silvan Griesbach was organist.

As the bride entered the church, she was wearing a floor length empire gown of white satin and Vencie lace, with chapel train and a bouffant veil of illusion secured to a Swedish crystal crown. She held a cascade of red roses and white pompons.

Preceding the bride to the altar were her aides, Miss JoAnn Zellner, Marshfield, the maid of honor, and Mrs. Jean Moeller, Stanley, and Miss Marilyn Abramczuk, Thorp, the bridesmaids.

They had floor length formals of velvet in royal blue and white Venice lace in an A-line silhouette, and their flowers were pink carnations and pompons in cascade arrangement.

Earl Mathison, Stanley, was best man, and John Thompson, New Glarus and Dean Abramczuk, Thorp, were groomsmen. Ushers were Richard and Bob Abramczuk, Thorp.

The wedding reception was held at Fahey's Hall Rozellville. Supper was served at St. Andrew's Parish Hall, and the evening dance was held at the Thorp Legion Hall, Thorp.

Mrs. Thompson, who attended Stratford High School and the Accredited School of Beauty Culture, Eau Claire, is manager of Dorsay's Style and Beauty Shop.

Her husband, who is engaged in farming, attended Stanley High School.
