Frisinger, Rosemary (Riley) (7 AUG 1929 - 19 OCT 2018)

Rosemary Frisinger, 89 of Bruce, died on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Ladysmith Nursing Home.

She is survived by 7 children; Linda & Rick Malaise of Bruce, Jim & Patti of Bruce, Barry & Aisha of Bruce, Mary & Bob Swanson of Ladysmith, Colleen & Curt Kopras of Bruce, Michelle & James Vierck of Marshfield and Bradley & Scholastica of Bruce, 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 son-in-law; Al & Stephanie Sorenson of Bruce, 2 sisters; Mary Feiri of California and Margaret & Bob Quinlan of Illinois and 1 brother; Tom Riley of Arkansas.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bruce with Fr. Inna Pothireddy officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Church Cemetery in Bruce.

Visitation for friends and family will begin at 4:00 PM on Monday, October 22 at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Bruce where a Rosary and Scripture Service will be held at 6:30 PM. There will also be an hour of visitation beginning at 10:00 AM on Tuesday at the church.

Rosemary Frisinger, 89, went to be with Our Lord on Friday, Oct. 19, 2018 at Ladysmith Care Community.

Rosemary was born on Aug. 7, 1929 in Chicago, Ill. to James and Agnes Riley. After graduating from high school she went to work at a savings and loan where she met her future husband, Wallace Frisinger. After a few years they moved to Bruce to farm. Although a total change from the big city, she embraced it and they raised their family there. She worked at several jobs outside the home as the children grew older and lastly worked as Director of Child Support for Rusk County until she retired.

Rosemary is survived by her children, Linda (Rick) Malaise of Bruce, Jim (Patti) of Bruce, Barry (Aisha) of Bruce, Mary (Bob) Swanson of Ladysmith, Colleen (Curt) Kopras of Bruce, Shelly (Jim) Vierck of Marshfield and Bradley (Scholastica) of Bruce. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Al (Stephanie) Sorenson of Bruce; her sisters, Mary Fieri of California and Margaret (Bob) Quinlan of Illinois and her brother, Tom Riley of Arkansas. She is further survived by 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace; her parents; her brothers, James and Bob Riley and her children, Jeri Lee Frisinger, Laurie Sorenson and Baby Francis.

Funeral services for Rosemary will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bruce with Fr. Inna Pothireddy officiating. Family will receive friends after 4 p.m. on Monday at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Bruce where there will be a Rosary and Scripture Service at 6:30 p.m. There will also be an hour of visitation at the church on Tuesday prior to service time. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Mary’s Church, Bruce, or Ladysmith Care Community Resident Trust Fund.
