Chaplin, Matthew Dean (4 SEP 1964 - 29 OCT 2018)

Matthew Dean Chaplin, 54 of Holcombe, died on Monday, October 29, 2018 at his home.

He is survived by his mother, Thelma of Holcombe and 2 brothers; Joseph Chaplin of Barron and Mark Chaplin of Chattanooga, TN.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Living Waters Assembly of God in Bruce with Pastor Truman Stricklen officiating. There will be a half-hour of visitation prior to the service beginning at 10:30 AM and a luncheon following the service.

Matthew Dean Chaplin, 54, of Holcombe, died on Monday, Oct. 29, 2018 at his home.
Matthew was born on Sept. 4, 1964 to Robert, Jr. and Thelma (Sours) Chaplin.

He was an active member of Living Waters Assembly of God Church in Bruce. He loved to play with the church band and sing. He also worked in Chetek at Bob's Auto Sales with his parents as a car salesman.

Matthew was an avid deer hunter. He loved to bow and rifle hunt. He was a good Christian, and he loved his church and people where he worshiped. He was truly a great son and an awesome brother. He will be truly missed.

Matthew is survived by his mother, Thelma of Holcombe and his brothers, Joseph Chaplin of Barron and Mark Chaplin of Chattanooga, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert and his brothers, Thomas J. and Timothy R. Chaplin.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10 at Living Waters Assembly of God Church in Bruce with Pastor Truman Stricklen officiating. There will be a half-hour of visitation prior to the service beginning at 10:30 a.m. and a luncheon following the service.
