Tammy Joe Lewis, route 2, Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.), and Duane Fred Marty, route 2, Granton (Clark Co.), were united in marriage at the Zion American Lutheran Church, Town of Pine Valley, on Saturday. The Rev. Ronald Norden performed the service. The bride was given in marriage by her father.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Lewis, route 2, Neillsville, Wisconsin. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Fred Marty, route 1, Granton, Wisconsin.

Joan Carol Schnabel, route 3, Neillsville, was maid of honor, and Mrs. Paul Bertz, Norfolk, Virginia, served as bridesmaid. Larry Hediger, Neillsville, Wisconsin served as best man, and Paul Bertz, Norfolk, Virginia, served as groomsman.

The bride was attired in an entrained bridal gown of rayon organza and Venice lace in princess styling, with high neckline and long sleeves. Her bouffant veil fell from a Camelot headpiece trimmed with satin ribbon and Venice lace. Pink and red sweetheart roses and white carnations formed the bridal bouquet.

The maid of honor and bridesmaid wore identical floor length gowns of Nile green sheer nylon over taffeta, with Venice lace trim, high neckline, long sleeves and demi-bell skirt. They carried lace fans with pink roses.

Kenneth Marg, Neillsville, and David Martin, Granton, were the ushers.

Mrs. Kenneth Karnitz was the organist for the ceremony and the entire congregation sang.

The wedding supper was held at the Silver Dome Supper Club. The reception was from 7 to 9 at the bride's home. The wedding dance was held at the American Legion Hall in Neillsville.

The new Mrs. Duane Marty attended Neillsville High School and the groom graduated from Granton High School, and is working at the Neillsville Foundry.

They are visiting points of interest in southern Wisconsin for their honeymoon.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Duane Marty will reside with the bride's parents for the present, while the groom goes to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri for 6 months basice training with the National Guard.
