The 25th reunion of the Loyal High School Class of 1949 was held at the Amber Inn on Saturday, July 20, 1974. Seventy-eight people were in attendance for the social event, with 36 class members present. Teachers represented included: "Peck" Brown, Chisolm, Minnesota, M.G. Hamel, Arpin, Rowene (Happe) Tanner and Gilbert Tanner, Eau Claire, and Maxine Hug, Vern Dahlby, and J.R. Thomas, Loyal.

Classmates from out of state included Harold Herdrich and Terry (Lakosky) Schoppaul from California; Mary (Nysted) Brentlinger from Arizona; Eunice (Langholz) Grube, from Iowa; and Virginia (Hoesly) Manning and Frank Pieper from Illinois.

Coming from the Milwaukee area were : Colleen (Bertz) Kraeger, Gene Cook, Barbara (Holnbach) Preising, Edward Shefchik, and Robert Strey; Mildred (Holmes) Nysted and Wanda (Nysted) Auth were here from Colfax; James Davel from Menasha; Richard Perry from Prescott; Dorothy (Radley) Dutzle from Horicon; Leonard Vandehey from Elroy; Audrey (Singstock) Untiedt from Edgar; Irene (Mathews) Richmond from Neillsville; Betty (Pockrandt) Landwehr from Stratford; Ronald Gotter from Marshfield.

From TRG Lang were Don Bugar, Harold Collinson, Richard Esselman, Inez (Free) Spuhler Rueben Garbisch, Elmer Gotter, Dorothy (Haslow) Schwantes, Milton Knack, Janis (Langfeldt) Vollrath, Dona (Lindekugel) Lucht, Gerald Luchterhand, Duane Pachal, Leroy Schmitz, Vernon Smith, and James Voigt.

The committee in charge of arrangements included: Dona Lucht, Inez Spuhler, Janis Vollrath, James Voigt, and Milton Knack.
