Scherer, Cindy Lee (Johnson) (26 JUN 1962 - 19 DEC 2018)

Cindy L. Scherer, 56 of Weyerhaeuser, WI, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 19, 2018.

Cindy is survived by her husband Joe, son Brandon, father Richard, mother Carmie and step-father Paul Plummer, sister Julie Johnson of Ladysmith and brother Bill (Lynn) Johnson of Columbus, MS, step-brothers Robert Plummer of Bruce, WI and Joseph Plummer of Barron, WI, her 4 grandchildren who love her dearly; Brandon, Bailey, Bella and Beau Scherer, 8 sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Marshfield Medical Center Chapel in Ladysmith with Reggen Meyers officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time on Thursday at the Chapel. Burial will follow the luncheon and will be in Island Lake Cemetery. Nash-Jackan Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.

Cindy Lee (Johnson) Scherer, 56 of Weyerhaeuser, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018.

Cindy was born on June 26, 1962 to Richard and Carmie (Baker) Johnson in Ladysmith. She married Joe Scherer in 1984. For the past 24 years she has worked at Rockwell in Ladysmith, where she enjoyed the company of many friends. She had a big heart, easy-going personality and always tried to see the best in everyone. To know her was to love her. She loved nature, all animals and especially the birds that came to her feeders. She also loved her flowers. She was all about family, and her grandchildren were the light in her life. She loved them with all her heart and soul as only a grandmother can.

Cindy is survived by her husband Joe; her son, Brandon; her father, Richard; her mother, Carmie and step-father Paul Plummer; her sister, Julie Johnson of Ladysmith and her brother Bill (Lynn) Johnson of Columbus, Miss. She is also survived by her step-brothers, Robert Plummer of Bruce and Joseph Plummer of Barron; her grandchildren who love her dearly, Brandon, Bailey, Bella and Beau Scherer; eight sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents and her father and mother-in-law, John and Jeannette Scherer.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, Dec. 27, at Marshfield Medical Center Chapel in Ladysmith with Reggen Meyers officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the chapel.

Burial will follow the luncheon and will be in Island Lake Cemetery.
