Rueben C. Heindl (4 Feb 1953 – 10 Jan 2002)

Rueben C. Heindl, 48 Loveland, CO formerly of Dorchester, died on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002 of injuries sustained in a traffic accident in Oklahoma.

Mr. Heindl was born Feb. 4, 1953 in Marshfield, the son of Clemence and Margaret (Mayr) Heindl. He was a 1971 graduate of Colby High School. He had been employed with Marathon-Clark Cheese Plant in Abbotsford and later at Liberty Homes, Dorchester. He moved to Loveland, CO, in 1974 and was a truck driver for TWX Trucking and at the time of his death, Darco Trucking of Colorado.

Mr. Heindl enjoyed riding and restoring Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

Survivors besides his parents of Medford, include one brother, Jerome (Sally) Heindl, Colby and two sisters, Cheryl (James) Ploeckelman, Stetsonville, Teresa (Richard) Bartnik, Abbotsford.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother and an infant sister, Mary, and his grandparents.

Funeral services were held Jan. 15th at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester, with the Rev. James Schaefer presiding. Burial was in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Wayne Reineking, Dan Froemming, Terry Schilling, Eugene Heindl, Leonard Haas, and Kelly Winchester.
