Borgeson, Jacalyn Carol (10 NOV 1973)

The Rev. Robert Sullivan officiated at the wedding of Miss Jacalyn Carol Borgeson and Thomas Charles Reinke on Saturday, November 10, 1973.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sigrid Borgeson, route 2, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and the son of Mrs. Donna Peissig, Owen, and the late Lee Reinke, were wed during an 11 a.m. ceremony in the Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee. Miss Louise Hansen played the organ and Terry Nirva strummed a guitar, while Mrs. Linda Turnquist was vocalist.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of Dacron organza and Venice lace, with Watteau train. Her fingertip veil fell from a Venice lace headpiece, and she carried a bouquet of yellow cymbidium orchids on a white Bible.

Miss Marilyn Stelter, Withee, was maid of honor, and Mrs. Vicki Henke of Spencer, Mrs. Beth Hamm and Miss Marlene Stelter, both of Owen, and Miss Amber Nirva, Withee, were the bridesmaids. The honor attendant's gown was of an orange floral print over a sand underskirt, while the bridesmaids dresses wwere of the same print over orange linings. Each carried a hand-carved fan with an arrangement of fall colored mums on it.

The best man was Dave Henke, Spencer, and the groomsmen were Sid Borgeson, Withee and Gary Reinke, Carl Thorne and Bill Chrostowski, Owen. Ushers were Dennis Henke and Glen Bublitz.

A reception in the church parlors was followed by a dance at the Legion Hall in Owen.

The bride and groom are both graduates of Owen-Withee High School. The new Mrs. Reinke has been a waitress at Dave's Steakhouse in Owen, while her husband, who graduated in 1973 from Trans American School of Broadcasting, is employed at United Building Center in Owen.

The couple will reside on route 2, Withee.
