Judy Greschner, route 1, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), was among the 540 high school girls from throughout Wisconsin that took part in the 31st session of Badger Girls State June 8 – 15 on the University of Wisconsin campus at Madison.

The event is co-sponsored by the Wisconsin American Legion Auxiliary and University Extension Institute of Government Affairs. The girls spend the week learning about government on city, county and state leves in a program designed to prepare them for their future responsibilities of citizens.
