UW-Stevens Point (Grads – 11 May 1975)
Area students were among the 850 persons who received either bachelor or
master’s degrees Sunday afternoon, May 11, in commencement rites marking the
81st academic year at the University of Wisconsin-Sevens Point.
Speaker at the event was Wisconsin Senator William Proxmire who told the
graduates that there are “surprisingly strong employment opportunities for many
professionals, particular4ly in service areas.”
Among the graduates were: Granton – Gordon Schultz, Rt. 1; Greenwood – Gary
Brzezinski, Rt. 2; William Hare, son of Mr. and Mrs. Merril Hare; and John
Metzke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Metzke; Loyal, - Sheila Trindal, daughter of
Mrs. Dorothie Trindal.
