Neuhaus, Nora (11 FEB 1902 – 25 NOV 1969)

Word was received here of the death of Mrs. Richard Neuhaus, a former Colby (Clark Co., Wis.) resident.

Mrs. Neuhaus of Lake Geneva died Tuesday afternoon, November 25, 1969, at University Hospital at Madison following a short illness. She was 67.

Funeral services were ehld Saturday at Emanuel Lutheran Church at Lake Geneva, and burial was made there in Oak Hill Cemetery.

The former Nora Gosse was born February 11, 1902, at Cleveland, Wisconsin. She was married to Richard Neuhaus at Colby on October 28, 1920. She had been a resident of Lake Geneva and Genoa City since 1941, and was employed at Auto-Lite at Woodstock, Illinois for 22 years prior to retiring in 1967.

She is survived by her husband and two children, Mrs. William (Ruth) Johnson, and LaVerne Neuhaus, all of Lake Geneva. There are eight grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Henry Ortmeier of Abbotsfored, also survives.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Mr. and Mrs. Ortmeier attended the funeral services.
