Fisher, Hazel Arlie (12 SEP 1942)


Miss Hazel Arlie Fisher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Fisher, Jr.,
Spencer, became the bride of Lt. Ralph B. Saveland, Jefferson Barracks,
Missouri, the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Z. Saveland, of Milwaukee, on
September 12 in the Winnebago Church at St. Louis, Missouri. The Rev.
Jerrie Johnson read the nuptials.

They were attended by Miss Lora Semple and Albert Behrens.

Mrs. Saveland, a graduate of the Loyal High School with the Class of
'31 and of Central State Teachers' College at Stevens Point in 1939, now
is at home with her parents. Lt. Saveland, graduated from Bay View High
School in 1931, attended Marquette University in Milwaukee. Previous to
the time he was inducted into the Army and commissioned a Lieutenant in
the Army Air Corps upon his graduation from Officers' Candidate School
at Fort Benning, Georgia, in June 1942, he had been employed by the
Texas Company, Milwuakee.

Lt. Saveland is expected in Spencer on September 23 when he and his
bride plan to spend a week vacationing at Indian Point Resort, after
which they will leave for St. Louis, Misssouri, where they will make
their home.
