Fisher, Amanda Martha (17 March 1906-20 November 1991)

SPENCER--Amanda Martha Fisher, 85, Spencer, died Wednesday at St.
Joseph's Hospital Hospice Care Unit, Marshfield.

Services will be Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer, with
the Rev. William Ruhbusch officiating. Burial will be in Salem Lutheran
Cemetery, Veefkind.

Pallbearers will be Clarence, Dale and Michael Giloy, Garry Hanson,
Steven Potter and Michael Halpin.

Visitation will be at Rux Funeral Home, Spencer.

She was born March 17, 1906, in Garden Valley, Jackson County, to
the late Valentine (Phillip) and Louisa (Zimmerman) Giloy. She attended
Humbird Schools. She was married to Martin (Mike) Fisher October 22,
1930, in Humbird, and he died October 6, 1973.

She was a homemaker and farmed with her husband in the Veefkind area.
She lived in that area until 1986 and then moved to Spencer. She was a
member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Everett (Betty) Smith of
Marshfield; one son, Jon of Spencer; one sister, Ella Mueller of Mount
Vernon, Washington; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one
great-great-grandchild.

She was also predeceased by six brothers and two sisters.
