Lapp, Mathilda (11 APR 1886 – 25 DEC 1969)

Funeral services for Mrs. Mathilda Lapp, 83, of Abbotsford (Clark Co., Wis.), were held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 29, 1969, at the Polnaszek Funeral Home at Abbotsford. The Rev. Kenneth Dix, Colby, officiated, and burial was made in the Abbotsford Cemetery. The organist at the funeral service was Mrs. Eugene Strathman. Pallbearers were Myron Brecke, Orlando Kind, Otto Kind Jr., Loyle Johnson, earl Schiszik, and Chester Stepheis.

Mrs. Lapp died Thursday afternoon, December 25, 1969 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

The former Mathilda Johnson was born on April 11, 1886 at Curtiss (Clark Co.). She married Henry Lapp, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Elmer (Norma) Wardell, Wanatah, Indiana; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sister, Mrs. Otto (Mabel) Kind, Greenwood; Mrs. Olaf (Clara) Olson, Canada, and a brother, Jacob Johnson, Curtiss.

A son, two brothers and six sisters preceded her in death.
