Binning, Inga E. (27 MAR 1883 – 7 JAN 1970)

Funeral services for Inga E. Binning, 86, of Unity (Clark Co., Wis.), were conducted Saturday, January 10, 1970 at the United Methodist Church in Colby.

Mrs. Binning died early Wednesday, January 7, 1970 at the Marshfield Convalescent Home of complications of old age.

The Rev. R. James hagen officiated at the services at 1:30 p.m. Burial was made in the town of Brighton Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Alvord Selk, Frank Chudyk, Michael Binning, Roy Binning, Lester Binning and Roscor Meacham.

The Lulloff Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

The former Inga Lydickson was born March 27, 1883, in the town of Unity. She received her education in local schools, and on September 28, 1903 was married to Herbert Binning in the town of Unity.

After their marriage, the couple farmed in the town of Brighton (Marathon Co., Wis.), east of Unity, until 1951. They then retired and moved into the village of Unity.

She spent the last 22 months of her life at the Marshfield Convalescent Home.

Her husband died February 19, 1962.

Mrs. Binning was a member of the United Methodist Church of Colby, and an honorary member of the WSCS Circle. She also belong to the Brighton Homemakers Club.

Surviving are five children, Kenneth Binning of Minneapolis, Mrs. Duane (Merle) Fischer of Marshfield, Earl Binning of Minneapolis, Milford Binning of Minneapolis, and Clifford Binning of Unity.

There are sixteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Peter Lydickson of Neillsville and Andrew Lydickson of Riplinger.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Floyd, and two sisters and three brothers.
