Giloy, Vernon (5 May 1923-1 March 1986)

HUMBIRD--Services were Tuesday in Humbird for Vernon A. Giloy, 62,
formerly of Humbird, who died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital,
Marshfield.

He was born in the town of Garden Valley, Jackson County, and married
Betty Sischo January 23, 1954, in Milwaukee. He farmed in the Humbird
area for several years. He moved to Milwaukee in 1950 and was a die
setter for A. O. Smith Corporation, Milwaukee, for 30 years. He moved to
cable after retiring in 1980 and lived in Marshfield since June.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Suzanne Schmidt, Carmichael,
California; a stepson, Kenneth, Abbott, Oregon; two sisters, Amanda
Fisher, Spencer, Ella Mueller, Mount Vernon, Washington; a brother,
Gerald, Sussex; and five grandchildren.

Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery, Alma Center. Gesche Funeral Home,
Neillsville handled arrangements.
