Miss Donna Marie Bremmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Bremmer of Pearl City, Illinois, became the bride of Kenneth Arthur Schultz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Schultz of Colby (Clark Co., Wis.), in a candlelight ceremony June 13, 1970 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Pearl City.

The Rev. Walter Hallerud performed the double ring ceremony at 8 p.m. The altar vases held bouquets of pink gladioli and green pompons backed with salal foliage. Flanking each side of the altar were seven branched candelabra tied with ferns and green satin bows. Single hurricane lamps with green bows marked alternate pews for the candlelight wedding. Gary Schultz, brother of the groom, lit the candles.

Miss Kathy Eden of Pearl City, Illinois, was organist, and accompanied soloist, Miss Bette Harkness of Kent, Illinois.

The bride chose a gown of regal peau de soie and peau d'ange lace, styled in empire A-line with lace bodice, bishop sleeves and back panel ending in a long train.

Her veil was secured by a headpiece of organza petals and overlaid by Alencon lace. The petals were edged with crystals and pearls.

The veil was of ballerina length English illusion. She carried a crescent cascade of white butterfly forses and pink sweetheart roses with salal leaves. Her removable corsage was also of pink and white butterfly roses.

Miss Judy Meyer of Madison was maid of honor. She wore a long sleeved mint green dress with empire waistline, accented with a satin ribbon meeting in a bow at the back, with two floor length mint green streamers. White lace applique and ribbon enhanced the bodice. A single ruffle finished the jewel neckline and sleeves.

Mrs. Dwain Braege of Lena, Illinois, and Miss Charlene Boop of Madison were bridesmaids. Their dresses were identical to the maid of honor. Their veils were green organza bows with a few sprays of lilies of the valley, and were shoulder length. Each carried nosegays of pink pompons and baby's breath, accented with green and pink ribbon loops and streamers.

Renee Umlauft of Marshfield wore a pink and white gown fashioned like the maid of honor and carried a white wicker flower basket filled with pink rose petals. She wore a tiara of pink sweetheart roses. Mark Jordon of Kent, Illinois, carried the rings.

Ronald Schultz of Colby was bet Man, and Ronald Bremmer of Pearl City, Illinois, and David Schultz of Pullman, Washington, were groomsmen.

Wedding guests were seated by Wayne Frome of Colby, Dwayne Hoffman of Madison, and Norris Bremmer of Shannon, Illinois.

Following the ceremony, a reception as held in the church parlors.

The new Mrs. Schultz, a graduate of Pearl City High School in 1967, and of Madison Business College in 1969, was employed by Wisconsin State Employment Service at Madison.

Her husband, a graduate of Colby High School, graduated in May from Stout State University at Menomonie with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology, and will be employed by Western Electric as an engineer at Rolling Meadows, Illinois.

The couple left after the ceremony on a wedding trip to Colorado Springs and other points of interest.

They are now at home at 4704 Arbor Drive, Apt. 208, Rolling Meadows, Illinois.
