They were attired in identical gowns of avocado green taffeta fashioned with long sleeves and empire styled skirts with fitted bodice trimmed in ruffled lace. Each wore a matching green picture hat and carried baskets of white daisies and pompons.

Duane Grube, Abbotsford, was asked to be best man. Groomsmen were Robert Misener, brother of the groom, and Dick Goessel, Abbotsford. Ushers were John Mueller, Colby, and Wayne Misener, Schofield, brothers of the bride and groom respectively.

The wedding reception was held at 2:30 at Abbotsford City Hall and supper was served at St. Mary's Colby, at 4:30, with the wedding dance at 9 p.m. at Abbotsford City Hall.
