Bunnell, Danny L. (25 OCT 1962 - 8 APR 2019)

Danny L. Bunnell, 56, Lublin, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2019, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, April 20, at Thorp Funeral Home in Thorp, with Rev. Barry Acker officiating. Visitation will be held at Thorp Funeral Home on Saturday from noon until time of service.

Danny Lee Bunnell was born on Oct. 25, 1962, in Sun Prairie, the son of Dale and Virginia (nee Heiman) Bunnell. He was raised near Marshall until moving to Loyal in 1974, where he completed his education. After completing his education, Danny moved to Cottage Grove and farmed. He married Kristi Fasbender in 1990 at the Boyd American Legion Hall in Boyd. They later divorced. Throughout the years, Danny did auto body repair work and over-the-road welding in the central Wisconsin area. He had many interests, but especially enjoyed working on cars, building his Trans Am, cookouts, and spending time with his grandchildren. Danny was a member of the Lublin Sons of the American Legion Post #547.

He is survived by two daughters: Kayla (Dustin) Kodl of Thorp and Hayley Bunnell of Withee; two grandchildren: Cameron and Zara Eichelt; two brothers: David Bunnell of Chippewa Falls and Donny (Sue) Bunnell of Boyd; one sister: Marie Brecht of Greenwood; special friend: Michele Sommer of Lublin; his step-sons: Nicholas Wellner of Withee and Anthony James Sommer of Holcombe; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents; one son: Seth Pulvermacher; one sister: Dianna Kruckeberg; and one niece: Ashley Bunnell.
