Hamlet, Vicki J. (OCT 1970)

The marriage of Miss Vicki J. Hamlet of rural Spencer, and Kenneth B. Hanson of Colby (Clark Co., Wis.), took place at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer, with Pastor Rubisch officiating at the 7 p.m. ceremony.

She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thane Hamlet of Shell Lake. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. James Hanson of Spirit.

Vocal solos during the services were "O Perfect Love" and "Wedding Prayer."

The maid of honor was Miss Mary Wick of Eau Claire, a friend of the bride, and the best man was Bruce Gilbertson, brother-in-law of the bride, of Kilty's Kourt of rural Spencer.

Seating the guests were another brother-in-law of the bride, Vernon White of Unity, and a brother of the groom, earl Hanson of Tomahawk.

The bride chose a floor length white satin gown with yellow lace trim, designed with long puffed sleeves and a short stand up collar. A mantilla veil was attached to a headpiece. She carried a trailing bouquet of white and yellow carnations.

The maid of honor wore a blue and white dotes Swiss dress, fashioned with long puff sleeves. She carried a cascade of white and yellow carnations with blue baby's breath.

Following the ceremony, a reception and cane were held at Memorial Hall at Unity.

The groom is a graduate of Prentice High School. He es employed at Packaging Corporation of America at Colby. The bride, a graduate of Turtle Lake High School, is employed at the Tribune-Phonograph as a linotype operator.

Following a wedding trip to wester and southern Wisconsin, they will be making their home at Colby.

Out of town guests attending the ceremonies came from Shell Lake, Prior Lake, Minnesota, Brentwood and Spirit, Illinois, and Michigan.
