Turner, Herbert Michael (31 JAN 1968 - 25 APR 2019)

Herbert Michael Turner, age 51, of Weyerhaeuser, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

Herbert was born on Jan. 31, 1968, in Ladysmith, the son of Herbert and Arlene (Dye) Turner. He had a wonderful sense of humor, often very sarcastic and never shied away from a good joke even at his own expense. He proudly self-professed as being a renegade outlaw and had a deep love for his country.

He loved the outdoors of northern Wisconsin and enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and taking walks in the woods. He liked to sit in a lawn chair and hang out with his family and friends. He also enjoyed playing pool and was a huge Green Bay Packers fan.

Herbert is survived by his children, Kylie (Sam) Revak of Carmel, Ind., and Briana (Dylan) Carey of Barron and his grandchildren, Jolie and Bodhi Revak, Jackson Carey and was eagerly awaiting two grandbabies on the way. He is also survived by his parents, Herbert and Arlene Turner of Radisson; his siblings, Barry (Patty Jelinski) Turner of Bruce, Robin (Randy) Gutowski of Radisson and Kimberly (Duane) Mansky of Exeland; his grandmother, June Dye of Radisson; his uncle, Robert Dye of Spooner; his aunts, Mary Timmerman of Davenport, Iowa, and Nancy (Earl) Pate of Eagle, Nebraska and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Dye; his grandparents, Herbert and Arletta (Falk) Turner and his nephew, Austin Mansky.

A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29, at Hayward Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Hilgendorf officiating. Interment followed in Radisson Cemetery.
