Laski, Gabrilla (29 JUL 1894 – 26 MAY 1975)

Mrs. Gabrilla Laski, 80, of Route 1, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, at 11:35 a.m. Monday, May 26th, 1975. She had been a patient there since May 17th.

Rites will be at 10:30 a.m. today, Thursday, May 29, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Owen. Officiating will be the Rev. George A. Becker, Pastor. Burial will be in Dorchester Catholic Cemetery (Dorchester Memorial), Dorchester.

Visitations may be made after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home in Owen. There will be a parish rosary service at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

The former Gabrilla Baronsky was born July 29, 1894 in the Town of Holton (Marathon Co., Wis.). Her marriage on June 18, 1912, at Heweitt, was to Joseph Laski. He dieed April 30, 1959.

After their marriage they farmed in the Town of Deer Creek. They later moved to rural Thorp and farmed in the Town of Longwood (Clark Co.) from 1942 until retiring in 1956.

Survivors include four sons, George, Portland, Oregon, Louis, Curtiss, Jerome, Withee, and James, Owen; two daughters, Mrs. Alex (Margaret) Ladonis, Berwick, Pennsylvania, and Mrs. Walter (Constance) Pacewicz, McHenry, Illinois; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Westphal, Marshfield, Mrs. Clarence (Rose0 Klieforth and Mrs. Reinhold (Elizabeth) Schaefer, both of Abbotsford, and Mrs. Josephine Strike, West Allis; a brother, Frank Baronsky, Abbotsford; 17 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband, were three sisters and a son.
