Petke, Mr./Mrs. Art Sr. (35th – 3 SEP 1975)

Mr. and Mrs. Art Petke Sr. were surprised with a "Charivari" by relatives and friends on September 3, 1975, it being their 35th wedding anniversary.

They were married September 3, 1940 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Withee (Clark Co., Wis.). Included with the visitors for the evening were Mrs. Petke's Aunt, Mrs. Martha Andrews, Mrs. Robert Andrews, Rice Lake; Mrs. John Barnaske, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Petke, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kaz, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Janke, Mr. and Mrs. Peter McMillan, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Himes, all of Owen (Clark Co.).

Also attending were Mr. and Mrs. Dave Petkovsek, Curtiss; Mrs. Rose Jessen and Pam, Mr. Earl Chubb and Jane of Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Lucht of Spencer, who also were married September 3rd, it being their 28th anniversary, Mr. and Mrs. Malen Juzwiak of Thorp; Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Greschner, Mr. Charles Wirtala, Mr. and Mrs. Walt Petke, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Bowe, Mr. and Mrs. Art Petke Jr. and grandchildren Alicia Bowe, Theresa Bowe, Cletus Bowe, and Arthur Petke III.

Mrs. Walter Petke and Mrs. Arthur Jankee were two of the attendants at the wedding.
