Fisher, Mary Beth (26 FEB 1972)

Married Saturday, February 26, 1972, at 1:30 p.m. in St. Bernard's Catholic Church at Thorp were Miss Mary Beth Fishers, 208 E. Maple Street, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Hutter of Thorp, and Neil Francis Sonnentag, 6425 W. Norwich, Street, Greenfield, who parents are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sonnentag of Greenwood (Clark Co.).

The Reverend Francis J. Brockman performed the rites, during which the bride was given in marriage by her father, Roger Truckey was organist and Mrs. Viv Fleming, soloist.

As she approached the altar with her father, the bride was wearing a full length ivory old English lace empire A-line gown with floor length veil flowing from a bow headpiece. For her flowers she selected yellow roses and chrysanthemums in a wicker basket.

Miss Jeanne Klovas, the maid of honor, and Miss Susie Fisher, the bridesmaid, both of Thorp, donned ivory satin empire tops and brown floor length cotton with yellow and white daisies.

Leroy Clombar, Greenfield, was best man. Ronald Frederickson, also of Green field, served as groomsman, and ushering was Leonard Fijalkiewicz of Milwaukee.

A reception and dinner were held at the Sky Club in Thorp.

The new matron attended the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire for three years, majoring in journalism. Her husband, who attended Thorp High School, is a machine operator for Briggs and Stratton in Milwaukee.
