Brekke, Lois (Marriage – 27 September 1975)

Miss Lois Brekke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Brekke of Eau Claire, and Don Schnabel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Schnabel of rural Neillsville, were married September 27 at First Lutheran Church, Eau Claire. Pastor Bill Roman performed the 1:30 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the church.

The bride’s father presented her in marriage.

Donna Melvin, sister of the bride, was her honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Pam Evans, Paula Schofield and Laure Hayes,

The groom was attended by Terry Zschernitz as bestman and by Dennis Meir, Steve Knoop and Tom Seelow as groomsmen. Guests were seated by Mike Melvin and Jeff Snyder.

The newlyweds have returned from a wedding trip to the Smoky Mountains and are making their home at 2042 Liberty St. La Crosse.
