Kolbrak, Frances Mae (? – 2 October 1975)

Funeral services were held in Altoona Saturday for Mrs. Lawrence W. Kolbrak, a native of the Town of Hewett who died October 2 in an Eau Claire hospital.

The service was conducted by the Rev. George T. Agema, retired pastor of the Altoona United Methodist Church. Burial was made in Oakwood Cemetery at Merrillan.

Mrs. Kolbrak, the former Frances Mae Sollberger, was graduated from the Clark County Teachers College at Neillsville and taught in area schools for eight years before her marriage in Biloxi, Miss., on July 11, 1942.

Returning to the area from Biloxi, the Kolbraks resided in Merrillan for a few years before moving to Altoona.

Mrs. Kolbrak was a member of the United Methodist Church at Altoona and of its Ladies Aid society.

She is survived by her husband, a son, Lawrence J. of Chippewa Falls; a sister, Mrs. Elmer (Alice) Hoesly of Marshfield, and one grandson.
