Debra Edwards, 12, daughter of Mrs. Delores Edwards, Greenwood (Clark Co.,
Wis.), was the winner of the county spelling contest held on Friday at Greenwood
Community Schools. She will represent the county in the state contest at Madison
on May 6, 1972.
The alternate is Toni Langreck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Langreck, route
1, Neillsville (Clark Co.).
Schools represented were Thorp, Owen-Withee, Colby, Loyal, Neillsville, and
Greenwood.
