Bieno, Debra Ann (12 AUG 1972)

St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Thorp, was the setting for the wedding of Miss Debra Ann Bieno and Thomas F. Wadzinski. Reverend Francis Brockman performed the double ring ceremony at one p.m. on Saturday, August 12, 1972.

The parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Bieno and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wadzinski, both of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length bridal gown of poly-crepe fashioned with Juliet sleeves and a V-neckline framed by a flattering ruffle. Venice lace complemented the gown, highlighted by a sweeping chapel train. Her bouffant veil of sheer bridal illusion secured a petal cloche accented with pearls. She carried a bouquet of white gladiolas and yellow carnations.

Mrs. Jennifer Milas, sister of the groom, was maid of honor, and Mari Welgos, friend of the bride, was the bridesmaid. They wore A-line gowns of dotted Swiss, belted in back. Each carried a basket of yellow daisies and baby’s breath. Pamela Bieno, sister of the bride, was a miniature bride. She wore a gown identical to the bride’s, and also carried a bouquet of white gladiolas and yellow carnations.

Attending the groom were Mr. Tim Milas, cousin of the bride, as best man, and groomsman was Bill Huls, friend of the groom. Frank Wadzinski, Jr., was miniature groom. Ushering were Jim Kosik and Danny Wadzinski.

The new couple is residing at 403 W. Main Street, Thorp.
