James Robert Gebert (8 Jan 1935 – 14 May 2013)

James Robert Gebert was born on January 8, 1935 to Fred and Josephine Gebert in the town of Little Black, Wisconsin. He was brought into God’s kingdom of grace through the Sacrament of Holy Baptism in February 1935 in Stetsonville, Wisconsin. He also made public proclamation of the one true faith through the rite of confirmation on May 30, 1965 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Wausau, Wisconsin.

He married Caroline Capelle at St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Goodrich, Wisconsin on September 25, 1965.

He was called out to this world of sin and sorrow to his eternal home on Monday, May 14, having attained an age of 78 years, 4 months and 6 days. We pray that the Lord would teach each of us to number our days that we may apply our hearts to the wisdom of God’s saving Word.
