Wesley C. Revie (1 Oct 1927 – 21 Jan 2014)

Wesley C. Revie, 86, died January 21, 2014, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.

He was born in Janesville on October 1, 1927, son of the late Frank and Lydia (Stacke) Revie.

He entered the U.S. Army in 1950 and was honorably discharged in 1952. He spent 16 months of this time with the Army of Occupation in Germany.

In 1956 he graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He was employed by John Oster Mfg. and then Brady Corp. where he worked for 28 years until his retirement in 1989. At the time of his retirement he was corporation facilities mgr.

He was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Plymouth.

On August 23, 1958, he married Phyllis R. Scharnow at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Horicon. Phyllis, his loving wife of 38 years, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his son, Mark Revie of Grafton; daughter, Lori (Bill) Blanchard of Port Washington; two grandchildren, Kelli and Thomas Blanchard; brother, E. Jack (Lila) Revie of Kennan; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Funeral service was held in Plymouth, with the Rev. John Schultz, associate pastor of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth, presiding.
