Rena A. Erikson (19 Oct 1905 – 28 Oct 2006)

Rena A. Erikson, 101, 509 Lemke Ave., died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006 at Deer View Meadows.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday Oct. 31, 2006, at First Baptist Church, Medford. Burial will be in Medford Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.

Rena was born Oct. 19, 1905, in the town of Deer Creek, Taylor County. She married Milton A. Erikson Sept. 8, 1927, in Stetsonville. She volunteered for 20 years at Memorial Hospital, Medford.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Blythe Erikson, San Francisco, Calif.; son-in-law Alan Sellers, Frankfort, Ill.; two granddaughters, three grandsons, and two great-grandchildren.

Rena was predeceased by her husband, Milton, who died Jan. 29, 1988. Her daughter, Joan Sellers, and son, Glenn, also died prior to Rena.
The family requests memorial to either First Baptist Church, Medford, or a charity of choice in Rena’s name.
