Beecher, Ida (1855-4 May 1928)

Granton, May 5--Mrs. Ida Beecher, widow of the late R. C. (Rolla) Beecher, passed away Friday afternoon following a month's acute illness at her home here. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon in the Windfall Church north of Granton, with the Rev. Willson Mallory in charge of services.

Mr. and Mrs. Beecher were among the earliest settler in this section and celebrated their golden wedding several years ago. Although Mrs. Beecher was been in poor health for ten years or more, during which she seldom left the house, she was fond of entertaining guests, and her hospitality won for her a multitude of friends.

Mr. Beecher passed away five months ago. The surviving members of the family are a son Wellie of Janesville, a daughter, Lula, at home, four grandchildren and one great grandson, Bobby Yorkston of Neillsville.
