Taps Sound for Former Soldier
Cloyd W. Pickett, 62, La Crosse, died suddenly December 14, 1975. Col. Pickett
was a former member of the Service Company of the 128th Regiment of the 32nd
Infantry Division, serving as a supply officer for the regiment from Louisiana
to and through duty in the Philippines.
Upon return of the 32nd Division and reestablishment of the Guard, he served as
executive officer of the same unit.
Many former guardsmen of this community will remember him well.
