Rowe, Debra Kay (Marriage – 19 January 1976)

Miss Debra Kay Rowe, Colorado Springs, Co., became the bride of Sgt. Richard Ernest Sischo, Jr., in an 11 a.m. ceremony performed January 19 at Fort Carson, Co. Capt. Gagliafo, Army Chaplain at the Division Artillery Chapel, Fort Carson, officiated.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Rowe, Buena Vista, Co., and Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Sischo, Sr., Rt. 2 Neillsville.

Presented in marriage by her parents, the bride appeared in a gown of white satin and lace, fashioned with long lace sleeves and a chapel length train. A floor length veil completed her ensemble. Blue Streamers accented her bouquet of white roses.

Honor attendant Madlyn Ottino, Colorado Springs, wore a blue satin gown and carried a bouquet of white carnations. Lisa Rowe, Buena Vista, was the flowergirl.

James Shaw, Fort Carson, served as bestman. Ushering duties were shared by Richard D. Busch and Mark Larson, both of Fort Carson.

A reception was held at the home of Sgt. and Mrs. William Schneider in Colorado Springs.

The new Mrs. Sischo graduated from Buena Vista High School and from Pikes Peak Institute of Medical Technology as a registered medical assistant. She is employed at Penrose cancer hospital in the department of radiation therapy. Her husband graduated from Neillsville High School and entered military service in 1973. He is a senior gunner on Chapparal Missiles with Battery C, 61st Air Defense Artillery, Fort Carson.

The newlyweds are making their home at 801 Circle E-2, Colorado Springs, Co.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Sischo, Sr., of rural Neillsville attended their son’s wedding, together with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Walker of Stewartville, Mn.
