Hayes, Amelia "Millie" (18 January 1872-28 August 1966)

LOYAL--Mrs. Millie Hayes, 94, formerly of Loyal, died Sunday at the Memorial Home in Neillsville.

Services will be conducted Wednesday at the Myre Funeral Home in Loyal with the Rev. A. M. Moldenhauser officiating. Burial will be made in the Lutheran cemetery.

The former Millie Gretzner was born January 18, 1872, in Germany, and at the age of 12 years came with her parents to the United States. The family settled in West Bloomfield, Wisconsin, and several years later moved to a farm in the town of Loyal. Ten years ago Mrs. Hayes moved to Owen, where she resided until a year ago when she went to the Memorial Home at Neillsville.

She was married to John Hayes, who preceded her in death.

Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Thomas (Tillie) Kelly, Milwaukee; and several nieces and nephews.

Two brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
